Lilac’s beautiful litter of puppies, who were born in rescue on 11/29/18, are accepting applications! 

Meadow is the most beautiful girl!  She is such a pretty color with distinct gray markings.  We all thought she looked like a chipmunk when she was born and were so excited to watch her coat change as she grew.  Meadow is the most food motivated out of the bunch- she will do anything for chicken!  Due to the breeds intelligence and her food motivation we imagine she will be fairly easy to train.  Meadow is energetic, playful, very smart, curious and full of life. Like her siblings Meadow will require an active family and consistent training.  The puppies are NOT  housebroken but are working on pad training.  It has been to cold for them to be outside much so ALL basic training will be needed in their forever home.  Lilac (her mom) is just under 50 lbs and Meadow is built very petite so we think she will around that size or maybe a bit smaller. All Australian Shepherds need a great deal of physical exercise and mental stimulation. Herding, advanced obedience, agility, jogging or biking, chasing balls, and playing Frisbee are constructive outlets for their enthusiasm. Boredom is the leading cause of destructive behavior and barking. Australian Shepherds are demanding of time and attention and want to be with you constantly.

We will not be adopting the puppies to an apartments. A fully fenced in yard is preferred, breed experience will be given priority.  If you think Meadow  is a match for your home, please apply.
