Who has the most amazing ears?! Max does!! Max is a rescue favorite, but aren’t they all? Sadly though, he has been a Pixie for far too long. In fact, Max has been with us for over a year. Max was found locally running the streets as a stray. He was brought into the shelter, but it was quickly found that Max was scared of strangers approaching him. We knew immediately that Max was meant to be a Pixie. He is a typical chihuahua, devoted to his person.

Max is an awesome little guy who is housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, and excellent in the car. He is very loving, once he warms up to new people. Max is looking for someone who is willing to throw his toys. He loves to play fetch! He will “get the toy” as long as you are willing to throw it. But don’t worry, if you are busy, Max will entertain himself with the stuffies. Get the squeaker is one of his favorite games. At night, Max is the first one to crawl under the covers and rest his head on his mama’s leg, arm, or chest. As he does, Max will release a deeper sigh of contentment.

Max loves women, and children (6+), and does well with other dogs. The only negative we can think of when it comes to Max is his fear of men.
