She ain't no basic Becky!  This little border collie pup is one smart cookie!  Becky was recently surrendered to a local shelter due to allergies but was not doing well in that environment.  We were happy to bring her into the rescue knowing we are going to find her the best home!

Like I said, she is a smart little dog.  She knows some basic commands already and is eager to learn.  We are working on not jumping up on people right now and house training.  That will need to be reinforced in her new home and please expect additional training on this.  Becky is a high energy breed and will need lots of exercise and stimulation.  Border Collies are NOT couch potatoes - they need and want exercise and a job!  She would be great with agility and additional obedience training.  Becky is playful and very affectionate and very eager to please.  She is doing well on the leash and is crate trained.  She is good with other dogs and has no issues with cats.  She is good with kids but due to the jumping they should be sturdy ones.  Border Collies are not for everyone and we need to make sure that Becky's next home is her forever one.  It will require a home with time, patience, energy and the willingness to continue training her.  Please do your research.  Becky will be adopted out locally.
