Please welcome the Texas City Pups to Pixie Mamas!  This litter was surrendered to the shelter and set to be euthanized - yeah they do that there.  But no way jose - send these cuties to Pixie Mamas and we will find them homes!  Mama was a hound mix and daddy is a who knows.  The pups will likely be medium to large when full grown - they vary in size currently.

Like all puppies, they are lots of fun, love and play!  They love to be outside and could be out there all day long if we let them.  They are crate trained (some better then others) and are doing really well on housetraining.  They are still puppies though so additional training in a new home with a new routine is needed.  There are going to accidents.  They are currently being fostered in a home with a fenced yard so leash training and pottying with a leash will require extra time.  They are good with other dogs and like to play with cats.  They are good with other dogs and like to play with cats.  These pups have a lot of energy and want to play and run - they should have active busy homes to keep up! 

All puppies and new families benefit from professional training so please consider this - you will get a wonderful puppy to transition into a wonderful dog.  

Houston  - you are no problem!  This fuzz face always has to be asked 10 times to come inside!  He wants to be with you but it's just so nice out!  Houston is trying to learn all the important stuff like sit and stay but he is easily distracted. He follows his brother's lead so another dog would be wonderful although not required.    And the minute you reach for him, he's on his back for a belly rub!   He will make a great family dog!  

Houston is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated.  His adoption fee is $350 - please fill out an application if you are interested!
