Please meet Pecan!  Pecan is about 7 months old and around 9 pounds.  He is one of the nut mutts litter but Pecan needed a little extra time and love to get ready for a new home.  We never want to rush a dog into adoption before they are ready so we gladly spent some additional time with our Pecan!

Pecan is a foster favorite for sure!  Although he can be shy at first, he is very affectionate and loves to give kisses!  He has become much braver and more confident and will warm up to his new people if given time, love and patience.  Pecan definitely needs another dog in his home.  He is playful and loves to run so one that wants to play would be nice.  He is also a big fan of bulldogs!  Pecan is a 'cleaner' - he loves to clean other dogs (and cats!!) faces, paws, ears - whatever he can!  Another dog will help him continue his confidence building!  Pecan will require a fully fenced yard in his new home (no electric fences please).  He is doing well  on his house training but please expect some adjustment time.  Pecan is crate trained and a well behaved boy.  Older, calmer kids are fine.  He will enjoy the attention!  Pecan is crate trained but has no experience walking or pottying on a leash. 

Pecan is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you are interested!
