Are you looking for an active dog?  A dog that loves to go for long walks and hours of playing?  Look no farther, Sparrow is the dog for you!  Sparrow is a 2 year old Jack Russel Terrier mix, and true to her breed, Sparrow is ready to go go go.

Sparrow has a zest for life like no other.  She is the happiest dog, who lives life, and is ready to explore.  Sparrow came up from Texas in order to find her forever home.  During her vetting, Sparrow tested positive for heartworm.  We, of course, have had her treated and now Sparrow is ready for her forever home.  Sparrow is housebroken, and crate trained.  After a day of play, Sparrow is happy to climb into bed, snuggle up under your arm and sleep there all night.  Sparrow gets along great with everyone she meets.  She would do well in home with kids and another dog to play with.  But, don't worry, if there isn't another dog, Sparrow is perfectly happy to play with you!  She can even entertain herself as needed.  We have been told that Sparrow can get out of a chain link fence so either a privacy fence is needed you you should use a tie-out with her.  After all, in Sparrows eyes, the world is a fun place and it's meant to be explored! If you think Sparrow is right for you and your family, please fill out an application for this lovely lady!

Sparrow is now spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated.  She has successfully completed heartworm treatment and we will need to remain on heartworm preventitive for rest of her life.  Her adoption fee is $350  - please apply on our website if interested!

Heartworm facts:

Dogs that have been treated for heartworm can live a full and normal life.

Heartworm is not contagious to other animals or people in the home.

Dogs that have been treated for heartworm should be tested again at 6 months and then yearly after that.

They must remain on a monthly preventative for the remainder of their lives.  The heartworm treatment is very hard on a dogs body and unfortunately they cannot go through the treatment a second time.
