Cute, cuddly Kara!  This girl is a precious puppy mill survivor.  She is about 2 years old and weighs about 30 pounds.  

Kara has had a rough beginning but is starting to love life in her foster home. She is working hard on learning how to be a family dog but still has a long ways to go.  Kara is really struggling with housebreaking mostly because she is still fearful to be outside.  She does not do well in a crate And would prefer to be in a pen or gated area when you are not home where she can be kept safe but still walk around freely.  Kara will require a fenced in yard for her safety and to help with training.  Kara is just learning how to play with other dogs and to trust people so we would prefer another stable dog in the home that she can learn from. She prefers to be in the same room as her family and she follows her foster mom everywhere in the house. She would be ok with older kids who would be patient and kind to her and she is ok with cats.  She is typically on the lazy side most of the day with spurts of bulldog energy  but that may change as she gains more confidence.  Surprisingly she does pretty well on a leash and actually enjoys short walks.  Kara is a quiet loving girl who is just looking for a family who wants to put in the time and Work to undo the damage done to her in the puppy mill and make her the bulldog she was meant to be. 

Kara is now spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg for heartworm.  Kara's adoption fee is $600.   Kara is a highly adoptable dog and it will help with the not so adoptable dogs and the very high medical needs dogs we have in our rescue.  If you are interested in adopting Kara, please fill out an application!  She is going to get a lot of interest!
