Adorable little Dottie!  She is about 1 year old and only 7 pounds!  Dottie is a chihuahua/dachshund mix, a sweet little Texas dog!  Dottie was not claimed when she was found as a stray and was taken to be euthanized - Dottie only had an hour before she was to be killed!!!  Thankfully the vet clinic and our friends in Texas reached out to us!  Dottie is now safe and sound in NY!

Dottie is a sweet playful little girl.  She loves other dogs and would love one in her new home.  She is learning the leash but would prefer a fenced yard to help with her training.  Cats and kids are fine.  Dottie is crate trained.  She is happy and has a nice amount of energy and also likes to cuddle up under the blankets!  Dottie has a nice personality and will make a great addition to your family!  

Dottie is up to date with vaccines, microchipped, tested neg for heartworm and flea/worm treated.  She will be spayed on 12/6 and available after that - but apply now so we can pre-approve you!  Her adoption fee is $350

  • If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.   
 
  • We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.  

  •  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

  • All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
