Koda is ready for a new life!  He is an adorable mix of Havanese and maybe maltese??  5 yrs old and 12 pounds.  This handsome gent was once someone's pet but when they were unable to keep him, gave him away on Craigslist.  Well it seems that home was not too nice to him and he landed in a shelter.  Koda needed rescue and was rescued just in the nick of time.  

Koda is a well behaved boy.  He is leash trained and house trained.  We are asking that Koda have a fenced yard only because he LOVES to be outside - if you are willing to take him out often with lots of walks and exercise, it is not required.  Koda is ok with other dogs and cats as long as they leave him alone lol.  He is not aggressive, just growls at them to go away.  Koda does have some food aggression - he will growl if anyone reaches for him while he is eating.  We are asking for a child free home because of this or kids in their teens just to be safe. It is a simple plan of letting him eat by himself and he is fine.  He is only protective over his bowl not of the other dogs food bowls.  He takes treats nicely.  Koda's ideal home would be adult and he could be the only dog!  He loves ladies and would be a wonderful companion.  He is looking for a home that will love him back!  

Koda is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated, tested neg. for heartworm.  Koda WILL BE groomed and will need regular grooming for the rest of his life.  He will likely be shaved down because of the matts but we wanted to include his picture!  Koda's adoption fee is $350.
