This handsome guy is Kevin.  He is just over 1 year old - we believe he is a basset mix.  Kevin came to us from Texas. Oh what a life he has had!  Kevin and his owner became homeless, sleeping in tents at night and Kevin was tied up during the day while his owner worked.  His owner tried very hard to keep him and make things work but realized he had to do right by Kevin.  He reached out to friends and they reached out to us - yes of course we were going to help!  

Kevin is quite the snuggler!  He loves his foster family and wants to cuddle right up on these chilly days!  He is grateful for his warm bed it seems.  He is leash trained and crate trained and also appears to be housetrained but please expect some adjustment time.  Kevin is good with kids and other dogs.   He lived with cats at one time and did not have any issues.  Kevin likes to run and play outside, a fenced yard would be ideal but not required if he gets lots of walks and exercise.  He is good in the car and likes to go for rides! 

Kevin is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated.  Kevin came to us heartworm positive but has just completed treatment.  His adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you think you could be Kevin's new family!
