Learn more about the Chihuahua.

Scarlett is 6 years old and a mere 4 pounds! Her owner passed away and she would not have made it in the shelter system there.

Scarlett can be shy at first so a time of patience will be needed. Can you blame her? Her whole life has been turned upside down! She enjoys some cuddle/lap time and amuses her people with her endless energy and antics. She has some house skills and is making progress going outside when kept on a schedule. Scarlett enjoys time in her crate or the x-pen and the door is kept open so she can exit as she pleases. She is not leash trained but may be able to learn how once she gets to know and trust her family. Scarlett loves boiled chicken and most other treats and had no problems sharing a food bowl with the other dogs. She also cuddles on the blankets with some of her peers. She is much smaller than most cats so has avoided them while in foster. If you are looking to win the heart of a sweet little pup this girl may be for you.

Scarlett is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm neg. Her adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you are interested in making Scarlett part of your family!
