This sweet senior is Carol - she was surrendered to a local shelter and they reached out to us for help! Poor Carol needed a lot of medical attention and we were happy to help get it and now she is ready to find a home!  Carol is about 10 years old and weighs 12 pounds.

Carol is a lap dog!  She loves to lounge on the couch at her foster mom's and watch the day go by!  She would be a great dog for someone that just wants a little companion to keep them company.  She is crate trained and does ok on the leash.  She likes to be outside so a yard would be nice but not required!  She is good with people - older kids are fine.  Carol has not been tested with cats.  She is good with other little dogs - due to her age, probably no big dogs.

Carol is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm neg, flea/worm treated.  Carol has had a dental, mammary tumors removed (benign), and a mass on her shoulder removed.  Her back was shaved for this and her coat is slowly coming back!  Carol also had a fistula repaired in her mouth - it was very painful and she is now much happier!  Carol's adoption fee is $200 to help with all her medical bills.  Please apply online if you are interested in giving Carol a place for her golden years!
