Oh look at those eyes!  How do you not fall in love!  Donny is a little dachsund, about 10 yrs old and 10 pounds.  He was found as a stray in the city and taken to the shelter.  No one came forward to claim him and our friends at the shelter do not like to see the older dogs there any more then we do!  So now Donny is looking for his new home safe and sound with Pixie Mamas!

Donny is a lovely boy!  He was someone's dog for sure - a well behaved little gentleman.  Donny is leash trained and crate trained.  He is also housetrained (please expect accidents as he adjusts to his new home).  He is a gentle little dog that would love to sit on the couch, just watching tv or taking a nap.  He is good with other little dogs but has not been tested with cats.  He is good with kids - they do need to be respectful to his age and size though.  Donny likes to go for car rides and sits shotgun like a pro!  Don't let this gray face deter you - he is a wonderful dog that has lots of love to give!
