Boomer!!  This cute boy is a handsome mix of Rat Terrier and Chihuahua - he is just a young one at 2 years old and only weighs 7 pounds!  Boomer's family couldn't take him with them when they moved so he became a Pixie!

Boomer is so loving - he just wants to be held and on your lap!  He is fine with other little dogs but prefers the company of his person.  Boomer has no issues with cats.  He is ok with kids but they should be older and calmer - he is not a rambunctious dog!  Boomer is iffy with men - he just gets so scared when a strange man comes into his foster home.  We are working with him on this but it needs to be considered when placing him.  Boomer is leash trained and crate trained.  His foster mom gates him and he also uses potty pads.  Please expect some adjustment time for him in his new home as far as housetraining.  Boomer likes to be outside so a fenced yard would be fine or someone that likes to take walks!  He is good in the car and enjoys going for rides.  Boomer's favorite thing is to snuggle on his foster mama's lap and watch TV - a perfect way to spend the evening don't you think?

Boomer is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and heartworm tested neg.  His adoption fee is $275 to help cover his medical costs and those of our other little pixies!  Please apply online if you are interested in adopting Boomer!

11/3 update - Boomer decided he does not like cats at all now!  We are not sure if it is just the cat in the house or all cats but we do not think he would be a good candidate for a home with cats!
