This magical creature is Falkor!  He is a mix of Shih Tzu or Peke and some kind of terrier - we think Cairn.  And he looks just like the Luck Dragon in Neverending Story!!  Falkor is about 2 years old and 17 pounds - and just beautiful.

Falkor is sweet although initially shy and cautious. He needs some time to adjust to new people.  It doesn't take him long to warm up to new people, just needs a little sweet talking.  He does need time though and people that will give him that.    He is gentle and affectionate.  Falkor falls in love with his people and wants to be with them when they are home.  He plays nicely with the other little dogs in his foster home.  No issues with the house cats!  Falkor is crate trained and does ok on the leash.  He appears to be house trained but expect some adjustment time.  An fenced yard is a must - he is too nervous with strangers to be walked.    Falkor is good with the kids he met but is shy so the less commotion in his new home, the better.  He barks at strangers and will let them know he is not happy they are there!  He's a good watchdog!  Falkor rides very nicely in the car.  He is smart and adjusted to his foster home's routine quickly.  He listens well and knows a few basic commands too.  This sweet lovable boy is a big hit in his foster home!

Falkor is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, micrcochipped, flea/worm treated and heartworm neg.  He also had an umbilical hernia repaired at the time of his neuter.  His adoption fee is $275 - please fill out an application on our website if you would like to be Falkor's new family!
