Just look at this hunk of chocolate love!  and he is as sweet as he looks too!  Mauricio is a chihuahua mix, 3 years old and 11 pounds.  Mauricio lost his home and family in the terrible floods of Houston.  He needs a new start and we were happy to help him find it in WNY!

Mauricio is incredibly sweet and gentle.  He loves people and his foster mom says he is just the nicest dog!  He is only 11 pounds but has a bigger dog look about him, a beautiful color and just look at how handsome he is!  He is always eager to please and also obedient.  Mauricio is good with other dogs and does not bother the cats in his foster home.  He is leash trained and crate trained.  He enjoys wandering in the yard but lots of walks are good too!  He is very good in the car!  Mauricio appears to be house trained but will need some adjustment time as he learns a new home and routine.  He did not have any issues when introduced to kids - he was fine and went for a walk with them!  He enjoys the comfort of a soft bed or the couch with his foster mom!  He is definietely eager to please and his eyes show so much love!  We are so happy we could help him find a new life and family that will love him like we do!

Mauricio is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated, heartworm neg.  His adoption fee is $250 to help offset his vet costs and other little dogs in our rescue!  If you are interested in this chocolate love, please fill out an application on our website!
