This little angel is Addie.  She is about 3 years old and only 5 pounds.  Addie is a puppy mill survivor and we truly mean survivor.  Addie's life prior to rescue was strictly breed, breed, breed.  Never a break never a chance to heal.  Finally Addie's body gave out and she miscarried her litter.  The miller had no more use for her and took her to the vet while she was in distress - not to help her but to kill her.  Well that vet said no and the amazing puppy mill rescue team flew into action to save her!  And now Addie's true life begins.  

Addie is still shy with people.  She is not used to being touched but once she starts to be pet and held she relaxes and starts to enjoy the positive human interaction.  She does not like a lot of commotion so no young kids - it is too stressful for her.  She is not aggressive but she is still learning that people are ok and not going to hurt her anymore.  Addie is good with other dogs, another small one in the house would be ideal.  She needs a fenced yard for sure - no exceptions and no invisible fences.   She has never been on a leash and we just want to make sure she is safe. Addie does well with her potty manners and will use a pad if needed.  Addie knows how to go up and down stairs.  Addie is fine with cats.  She needs a home that will give her time, love and compassion.  When you see the progress of a puppy mill dog, you will understand why there is such a passion to help these souls.  

Addie is now spayed, up to date with vaccines, micrcochipped, flea/worm treated and heartworm neg.  Her adoption fee is $300 to help absorb her vetting costs and others in the rescue too!  Please apply online if you are interested in adopting Addie!
